Brainwash interview
I was interviewed by the amazing journalist Floortje Smit (Volkskrant) at the Brainwash Zoomer Radio (Brainwash Summer radio) and she asked me about music that inspired me and changed my life. I chose 3 songs that impacted my life, work, and thoughts.
- I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor
Gloria Gaynor’s song “I Will Survive” is for me as a phoenix arising from the ashes of the violence I experienced by my father in my youth. The lyrics gave me the courage to stand up against him and violence of men against women, girls and boys. There were sentences with extra meaning, like “Did you think I would crumble? Did you think I would lay down and die? “ My success, joy and love for life despite all the violence is my best revenge on my father’s and men’s violence. Due …

My first TEDx talk “Dare to be Feminine”
In moments of self-doubt I use my Divine9Dance “I Am On Top Of The World” power pose, inspired by Lady Liberty enlightening the world. Also during my rehearsals for my Ted Talk this movement gave me the self-confidence to hold the torch up high for the charismatic Rise of the Feminine, to be Proud To Be A Woman, and say ‘Femininity is our sling!’ Your/our femininity has a lot to offer to the world! How do you keep your torch up high and your fire burning and connect with the feminine qualities of your womb?…

My new TEDx Talk ‘Thank God for our Vagina’ is now available!
It took a while before it was released (TEDx USA had to give their approval… I guess the V… word makes many people nervous!!)
My first TEDx Talk was in 2014 (Dare to Be Feminine), and this new one goes further. It’s a special one as I gave it right after my ski accident, with crutches and brace…
And it’s about breaking taboos… about femininity and masculinity…
Watch my TEDx Talk ‘Thank God for our Vagina’ below.
Enjoy and remember to leave me your comments below. I love reading you!

How to heal trauma accident with Divine 9 Dance (with dance video)
Exactly one year ago I had a heavy ski accident. The effect on my legs was ravaging.
Today I am perfectly healed, jumping, dancing, jogging, swimming…
The doctors were astonished because I recovered quite fast, without any operation, thanks to many things, and mostly thanks to the dancing. It was a miracle!
The difference that made the difference was dancing to release the trauma out of my system, immediately after the accident. The sooner you do it the better, before it gets installed in the memory of our body cells.
I made here a film, right after my accident, where I practiced some of the Trance Goddess Dance to release the trauma. It’s a very intimate video, where I needed lots of courage to expose myself in such a vulnerable state.
My wish and intention are that these dance movements …

Six out of 10 say their body image made them feel depressed!
The modern day female obsession
